报告人简介：Zhi-Feng Huang is a professor of physics at Wayne State University, working in the area of theoretical condensed matter physics and modeling of solid and soft complex materials. He obtained his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from Tsinghua University, China, and after some postdoctoral positions in Germany, U.S., and Canada, joined Wayne State Physics Department in 2006. He was a recipient of the U.S. National Science Foundation CAREER Award and Wayne State Career Development Chair Award.

报告人简介：Nan Wang is an assistant professor in materials science and engineering in Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He mainly works on computational materials science, particular focusing on mesoscale modelling methods and theories. He has worked in a few world leading groups in the field of phase field and phase field crystal models, and acquired extensive experiences in model developments and applications.
